No Bite With These Fangs

I understand this is a first feature but I felt compelled to write this review to offset all the hidious fake praise which has been heaped upon this movie. The problem with young, first-time directors is they often cosy up to the hack reviewers, there are many reviewing this effort, and 'befriend' them. This leads to a horrid situation where the reviews are bias and based on wether or not the reviewer likes the filmmaker or not.

Fang is not a good movie. Let's be clear about this from the start. Let's be honest. It's a terrible horror film with an awful rat-like creature which looks like it was built in one hour. How this movie currently enjoys a 9 out of ten rating on IMDb is beyond me. Well, we know why, don't we? Hmmmm

Fang starts of well but loses it's way by the 30 minute mark. It becomes self-indulgent and boring. There are no scares, creatures or anything to keep the viewer interested.
