I'm going to go easy on this horror movie. Yes, the special effects and the costumes could have been a lot better. Yes, it's a slow burn but the film builds to a satisfying climax when the two protagonists eventually meet the demons.
The dialouge is crisp and the two main characters played by Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey) and Ben Silver put in decent, convincing performances. The movie also tries to explore the difficult but real subject of Satanic Ritual Abuse.
The silicone masks let the film down a bit but the overall set up, creepy atmosphere, solid performances and willingness to engage with a difficult subject matter make this an interesting if not flawed low budget indie effort. We give the film a three out of five.
